Just working on the last 3 figures for the French Infantry Command, Ensign, Drummer and another officer. The Bugler needs a rifle adding and the new officer will be holding a pistol but I'll wait to cast them parts up before adding them. Next up, the Infantry :)

Kits parts
To make the whole process quicker when building Infantry and Cavalry the equipment is molded up first so it can be added to each figure, rather than make it again and again. This is a bit of whats already been done.

French Musicians
I always find them the most pointless of figures to sculpt, but people seem to want them. Its probably just me then lol!
Anyway here's the WIP :)

A blast from the past!
When I first started Musketeer Miniatures way back all those years ago, the Franco Prussian War was one of the ranges at the top of my list to do. I went so far as to do a test sculpt and came across the little green fella today so I thought I'd share him. He's not good enough to be part of the new range but it was interesting to see how my sculpting style has changed.
Another Officer.
WIP pic of another almost completed officer. One more officer and thats the first pack done. Also on the table atm are an ensign, drummer and bugler.

Workshop supplies and equipment
We have almost all we need to start molding and casting within a week or so. Final big delivery came today with the furnaces and molds. I've been busy making kit and weapons for the different sides, so as soon as I'm able to get them molded you'll start to see the infantry and cavalry start to come together. Exciting times :)
